I dont know about the refund but was planning on booking the ferry just in case the race happens in sept. I notice their booking system has changed, before £40 secures a booking, now they require 50% up front. I think there is a less than 50% chance of the race going ahead, so im not booking.

From what Martin Lewis says about airlines etc, they should repay cash, which is tough on them, but if you want to be generous, take the voucher, and use it next year.

However, if its a voucher for what you've paid, remember that due to the losses this year, they'll put their prices up next year.

At the minute, Brittany are only taking freight, so they have cancelled, not you.

I've moved my DFDS booking to September, on the basis that it'll still be restricted, so I can move it to June 2021. Schengen is over, its 14 days in quarantine instead

Hi All

just had a good chat with Brittany Ferries, they were very helpful.

I now have a credit note valid for 2 years. This 2 years is for the booking / first payment and not the date of travel.
So, I can use is for any time in 2021 and for most of 2022 including June.
They are working on 2021 schedules and will be releasing info later in the year.

The phone lines are no longer manned, they have given me a voucher but only for the outbound journey, so it’s only for half of the trip, they have e mailed and cancelled the crossing out but said nothing about the return journey.
