Yeah man really happy!! Proper in the Le Mans mood now.

Just booked with Team Langoustine for the old Thomas Cook site as well as the Tertre Rouge inside corner which we normally go to. Never been in there but walked past so many times and wanted to try it out. I actually found them by going on Google Maps and there's a Pin dropped on the site already which was cool.

I think they call it Team Langoustine at Pits and Paddock now......it does what it says on the tin I guess.

I phoned them in the end, much quicker as had lots of questions. 07931330550 or 0118 9071534

I've also got a 1953 Motobécane recently I'll restore and take out with me to whizz around on while there. I'll try and find a pic and post it.

I went to the Thomas Cook site in 2018. Really handy for the village and Dunlop Bridge.

Enjoy.

Their site is remarkably bad and uninformative.

Congratulations to Team Langoustine for securing the lease on the old Thomas Cook Site its a great location. It’s always surprised me that the ACO have never renovated the old chateau on the site which belonged to George’s Durand one of the founders of the 24 Heures du Man.

Surveyor what do you want to know? I found the website ok, easier to use on a laptop than on a phone, but had a lot of extra questions so did it by phone. They took my call late one evening also. Very helpful.

Mainly what the different levels of package are?

The Durand site is new to TL and the packages available by Thomas Cook were developed over years of learning.
On the Hunaudieres site ( inside Tertre Rouge) TL have never had add on options. You pay for a pitch depending on size you want and whether you need electricity for a motor home etc (limited pitches have electric access, so first come first served) and then you pay for what you use on site.. Food/drink. Everything else is included. This has always worked well.

I believe food options for the Durand site maybe offered, but for the moment I would assume that you pay for what you want / need when you get there.
Food, including full breakfasts will be provided and a full bar will be supplied in the marquee on each site.

Electricity within the Durand site is being discussed with the ACO. Hopefully mains can be supplied with easy access to all around the site, but the ACO are involved and that particular cog moves very slowly.
Alternatively we may have to use large generators. We are trying to avoid this.

So, please bare with us as the Durand site is a learning curve we are currently climbing.

Just booked up with Team Langoustine for this year, six of us on the old Thomas Cook site. First time on it last year after trying a lot of other sites and found it the best site yet, location is perfect and I know Mark will ensure a great experience on site for all! Highly recommend speaking to Mark if you are still deciding where to stay. The countdown is on!!

Sorry to bump a circa six month old thread. We have previously stayed at the Thomas Cook curated site and really enjoyed all the features.

One thing i'd like to know is whether or not there will be options for a breakfast package and if the live band will be playing on the Friday & Sunday nights?

I appreciate we're talking about 2021 but would be a shame if the previously enjoyed amenities were no longer on offer.
