Le Mans mix up

Hi, my dad has mixed up the dates for Le Mans and we are booked to leave on friday night/ have arranged all the insurance and such for then...

any ideas what we can do to minimise the financial damage of this mis-understanding?

What are the financial implications? What was the mix-up? When did you really want to go - Thursday?

Surely only the ferry is a problem? Insurance will cost about a tenner to extend.

He thought it was this coming weekend. Basically we have le-shuttle booked, dads taken a day off work for friday, something to do with insurance too (? not sure, havent spoken to him properly?)

I think he was basing it on the "Le Mans usually happens on the 24th weekend of the year" thing????

Would have thought he could shift his day off to the week after. Just get on the phones and see if Shuttle can help you. If not, phone round the ferry companies. Or wait to see if anyone has a last minute cancellation.

Unfortunately we were burgled last night and mums new Audi Cabrio got nicked.

So err, the good news doesnt quite balance out the bad news
