My first visit to Le Mans and this forum! Doh!

Like a complete idiot, I've only just found this forum and the veritable wealth of advice to LM newbies . It's gonna take me ages to catch up with the threads, but needless to say I look forward to spotting the PHers out and about at Le Mans soon. I'm going on Weds 15th June and returning Tues 20th June.



I would appreciate a phers list of 6 day camping/le mans essentials. www.beermountain.com looks a very useful site for advice. Do I need bog roll?

p.s. are forum preferences a good thing?

Are you crossing to France on the Wednesday or just driving down to Dover for a Thursday cross?

I believe we're crossing on the Wednesday...but then again, I'm just along for the ride at the moment and final details are yet to be....er....finalised.

As an example we're not sure how we're getting there yet, but it is one of two ways. Are you going on Wednesday?

Yeah, well driving down to Dover anyway.

Can't do with getting up at 3am in the morning to drive down. I'd rather go the night before, get in the B&B, have a few sherberts and then get up at a sensible hour and just step onto the boat.

Will be travelling down at about 5.30pm on Wednesday from Crewe, after I've picked my mate up.
