First year at LeMans so here goes:

Firstly, on the friday night, where is the best place to go out at night ?

Secondly, loads of people seem to take paddling pools to cool beer/themselves down. Where does the water for these come from ?

Thirdly, getting around. Is there buses or do you need to walk/take the car everywhere ? I suspect I shall be the wrong side of the limit most of the time & don't fancy driving much when there.

Fourthly, Sunday night. Is there any proper parties organised anywhere, or is it just a case of sorting your own out ?

Drivers parade in town is good, best to drive for convenience, campsites are usually good fun afterwards. Houx Annexe is my personal preference.

We always buy paddling pools or dustbins to cool beers. There are loads of taps available around the campsites, good for hose downs too.

Walk most places, keep off the sauce Saturday early evening and drive round the track to view at different locations, once back at the campsite get back on the sauce and walk to wherever you are going to watch.

Nothing organised (AFAIK) but Houx Annexe roundabout is usually heaving and excellent fun.... Fireworks this year should be pretty entertaining! (I promise)

speedchills have plenty of partying organised with live music, cold beer and plenty of good food.
