Any Scots going to Le Mans this year?
Discussion
Hello all!!
Another virgin of the Le Mans visiting variety here!
Myself and a friend are heading down from Aberdeen to catch the 1730hrs ferry from Rosyth to Zebrugge on the 16th June arriving in Zebrugge at 1030hrs on the 17th. Then we have the run down to Le Mans to look forward to.
Are there any other Scots making the same trip?
Also, from any veterans there may be out there, is there a recommended route to take through France that will offer a nice mix of great views and nice roads that 'progress' can be made on? We'll be in a Jag XJR 100 so high speed cruising will be the order of the day!
Cheers
Jim

yes, i'm another, despite having reservations about going this year due to house sale/move etc, i will be making the journey. from aberdeen, via tunnel then the N138 route, in a stately old charger, 1948 mkVI bentley, kipping at houx annex. this being the 5th consecutive time......i know, its madness.
