Hiya folks,

This year will be my first at Le Mans.
I have a ticket for the “Beausejour” campsite, from looking at the map on google it seems that I can drive right up to the campsite from the road as oppose to entering at the main entrance and through the facility and onwards to the campsite. So my question is: when I arrive do I need to drive into the circuit main entrance first or do I simply drive directly to the Beausejour campsite?

I've stayed at BSJ 3 or 4 times, you just drive straight to the campsite, it's just off roundabout, and there can be long queues if they are checking the contents of every car.

It's not attached to the track. So you go straight to the campsite. You will need you General Admission tickets to get you into the track. There is no vehicular access to track side except for Hospitality Guests and teams, etc. Your Beasejour will definitely not impress Pierre on the main gate! 😊

Depending on which day you arrive, the bod on the gate will get you to follow somebody on a bike to your pitch. If you don't like where you are put simply wait til the bike person has gone then move . Try and get by the green fence in the second field if you can

I see, great :-)

Out of curiosity, why the green fence/second field?

Just gives you a bit more security and somewhere to hang the tea towels up to dry
