Who is travelling the furthest?
Discussion
I've been going to Le Mans for the past 8/9 years. I am lucky that I'm only 100 or so miles from Portsmouth. The journey to LM can be done in a longish day quite easily.
Reading about some of the Irish PHers maing their way down over a period of a couple of days got me thinking. Where are you all travelling from and how long does it normally take you?
You'd need to be dedicated to travel from the North of Scotland but I'm sure people do.
What about our American cousins? Anybody coming over to LM?

I probably will be if last year's navigational skills have not been improved upon!
We overtook a small convoy of *very* slow classic cars and preceeded to travel at over 100mph for around 2 hours (back towards Calais on the Sunday). Then in the distance, I spot some slow moving cars... yep, the same cars we had overtaken previously!!!
It was a nice drive though

Came for the first time last year while visting family and now he's well and truely hooked!!!
He's not getting married just before coming to LM is he?
I spoke to someone this week who is coming from Aus to attend, plus get married just before hand?
My mate and me have got approx 3700 mile round trip, Sandhurst > Le Mans for the race. Then a little down to Gap, over the Alps by as many routes possible before the DTM meeting in Oschersleben on 26th June. After that we are booked into the Porsche factory for a tour before going back down to the BMW museum in Munich. Onwards to the Porsche museum, before a few laps around the 'ring prior to catching the chunnel back home. all in a little Eunos.
