Looks like we've got ourselves a CONVOY. Last car down buys the first round!!

Any other newbies on this boat?

Twenty four cars in our group and only those in four cars have been before, so I guess you could say we have some newbies

Taking a scenic/twisty road down, so were hoping you'd have cold beers waiting for us

Good luck keeping that lot together, is way bad enough with hal a dozen sevens and a TVR down the twiisties last time I convoyed down......

Suggest loads of copies of the route to be handed out at Dover !

Nah, sod that it would be a nightmare! We're spitting into groups of 4-6, meeting for lunch, then meeting again in Houx.

That way each group should be able to keep together while enjoying the twisties, especially as everyone wil have a two-way radio.

Just in case I'll be giving everyone a backup, easy route plan, so if they get lost or want an easy life they can use that.

Exactly what we did/do. Print a few different route options off on 'tree' diagrams, so we can decide which route to take depending on progress. Also, the escape route to the N138 if need be to make up time, plastic coat the whole lot so they don't get soggy if it rains, jobs a good 'un.
