Have any of you found an alternative to the £25 trip that Just Tickets are selling?

I'm sure it used to be a tenner.

We've done the free bus before and that was GRIM.

I know a lot of you will say take the car, but We'll have abused a few of the green bottles by Saturday evening.

Well Mulsanne is a bit too far, but we always find a hike to Arnage for breakfast beer very invigorating!

I agree with the fury on this one. Mulsanne promises much and delivers little (in my humble opinion).

Walk to Arnage not bad especially if you leave little 'beer stashes' along the way for the walk back.

Walk to Arnage is easy...but depends where you are starting from...I'll do it from the Maison Blanche entrance/exit to the circuit.

1. walk down the road south with the track on your left (MB on your left, Bleu on your right) i.e. in the opposite direction to the cars.

2. after about 1/4 of a mile you come to a roundabout (left here leads to Beausejour/Technoparc/Karting etc.)
Turn right at the roundabout headed towards Arnage.

3. There are a couple of turnings into side roads (Chemin de bordages etc.) - all closed off. At the first turning you can use on the left, turn left and follow this road for a couple of miles (seems longer, is probably shorter).

4. Arrive at Arnage, buy chips, beer and awe at the spectacle.

That sounds so much easier than the route we took last year on the inside of the track, through woods, over barbed wire etc. in the middle of the night - reckon I'll try this route this year.

Any tips for getting round to the end of the Mulsanne and to the Chinese from Arnage?

Neil's route will also have a long line of car queueing along it, so just follow them.

The grass verges are more than a little uneven especially after cold drinks have been taken.

Got a lift out to the Mulsanne corner for the first time last year, makes an interesting change but is not as good as the Indi/Arnage complex.

Thanks I was being a bit cheeky and was meaning so I could follow you and pinch your beer stash
