helecopter rides
Discussion
I did it a couple of years ago and it was a laugh.
I'd say its worth doing at least once..
couple of tips though.
1) do it fairly early on say sat afternoon. I did it late on the sunday and there wasnt that many cars left running.
2) if you want photos make sure you dont end up sitting in the middle, as you'll get hands and heads inthe shot!!!
3) for photos you'll need a decent lens and know how to use it. ( i borrowed a mates and got a couple of decent shots..
4) if your just up for the experience and to see what the whole circuit is like use a video camera rather than a still, as you can just point it and still look out of the window rather than down a view finder.
from memory you get about 2 laps

I did it 2 years ago and just went to where they take off from which was half way between the main gates and camping Bleu (on the Bleu side). Just paid by visa there.
It was about 69 Euro I think and was pretty cool...enough. I don't remember doing 2 laps though, just up, around a bit and then down. Mad pilots.
Like someone said, worth doing once.
