I have already sent an e-mail to the ACO, but while I wait for a response, can any help me out...

This years Le Mans trip for my party (of 9) has been organised at the last minute (well, today). I have camping tickets, channel crossing sorted etc, but haven't bought any general admission tickets, safe in the knowledge that they can be bought on arrival etc.

However I have just engaged my brain and realised we won't be arriving until sometime around 11pm on the Thursday when presumably the ticket office will be closed.

So...

1. Can I still buy tickets in advance from the ACO and get them sent to me? (website & booking form implies I can?)

2. Can anyone suggest an alternative source? (at a sensible price). Would prefer to buy in advance if possible.

Thanks

Paul

General Entrance tickets can be bought at the entrances themselves whenever the circuit is open.

The ACO ticket desk (in the Expo centre) is probably open 24hrs by that time of the week anyway.

Is what I thought too. But don't want to turn up at that time of night to find out otherwise!!!

The ACO office is open from 08.30 to 18.00.

You're keen if you want to get into the circuit at that time of night to see practice - what about putting up your tent/having a beer etc?. You don't need a general entrance ticket to get into the campsites.

The circuit is open for practice, therefore, it is safe to assume that the ticket booths @ Maison Blanche and main entrances will also be open - right by the entrance gates...they'll take your money.

Even if they are not you are only going to miss an hours practice and get a ticket the next morning...

Are you sure? Thought I had to show mine last year...in fact it was the only time I was asked for it, on arrival, driving into Houx...

I always get my entrance tickets when we get there, after tent erection etc. I'm usually in Houx or Houx annex. Hav'nt missed a race since 1988...I can remember turning up on the Friday night and buying Houx campsite tickets there and then...happy days...not like the *&%$£fight now.

You do need an entrance ticket to get into Houx proper, it's regarded as being inside the circuit.

Fair enough. I've not stayed in Houx proper for about 3 years. Annex this year.
