Oh yes! Andre Lotterer is next to God in my opinion. Anybody who can knock out lap after lap at qualifying pace in a quadruple stint (four hours) knows what he's talking about!

Le Mans 24hr today is a "sprint" race as opposed to what used to be an "endurance" race.

Back in DC Le Mans days if you drove that hard for that long you simply would have struggled to last the distance.

Long may it continue - oh and only 109 days to wait for this years epic - see you there !

Turns out Mr Coultard is not only commentating on F1 for C4 but also owns a stake in the company doing the production for the channel, might explain why he's keener to promote F1 than acknowledge the pickle it's got itself in
