HI LOOKING ON EBAY LOADS THE BT FREE WAYS LOOK GOT AND COME WITH A FM RADIO. THERE ARE SOME AMERICAN MIDLANDS THAT HAVE A 10 MILE RADIUS. ARE ALL THESE THINGS COMPATIBLE IF ALL ON SAME FREQUENCY CHANNEL??
DO WE NEED SAME MAKE SEE PEOPLE OPTING FOR THE BINATONE MCR 600 CAN ANYBODY CONFIRM CHANNAL
REQUIRED MAKE?

no i think the motarola ones will work with the binatone ones, you will probably have to get uk ones to work with other uk ones as the american ones will work on different channels

We use motorola talkabouts, buy them in the US for like 20$ or something daft, work very well(also use them when skiing with about 20 people on the airwaves) handsfree kits also available........UK radios dont work with US

hi i've bought the american midlands 10 mile sets and they only work over ten miles in the sahara dessert put a house or a tree in front of it and its useless ok for convoy driving coms though
ie:- pull over i've got a flat beer

Differnet makes talk on differnet channels, unless you have Sub Channels. The MG crowd use 7.13, but you can hear them on channel 7, just not able to reply.
The SPS crowd use channel 7 i think.

Hi,
Got the midland 5 mile set. They do not work with any of the UK ones as they use different frequencies. Best to just buy plenty!
Bad though as you can't inject random facts, swear words etc. into other peoples conversations :-)
