As per the title really - possible change of plan means that we may end up in Beausejour.

Has any one camped there (particularly last year) and can they advise on showers/sh*tters and whether we`ll be able to bag a reasonable spot on Friday lunchtime?

Yes, we've been on BSJ for the last couple of years and will be again this year.

It's much larger than the other sites, so there's plenty of room, you'll stand a better chance of getting a decent spot on Friday here than any of the other sites. Fairly decent, portacabin style, bogs and showers.

The downsides are the distance from anywhere except the Porsche curves, and the fact that the roadways are gravel so there's a think layer of dust on everything.

Thanks, looks like it may be the option.

Do they still run mini-buses from the Porsche Curves back to civilisation, or is it shank`s pony all the way?

There is a proper single decker bus which runs from the site upto the back of the circuit by the technoparc/karting nord sites. I believe they are building a new pedestrian tunnel between that sort of area and the main village.
