What are the Essential items to take to Le-mans?

I guess;

Tent
Beer (Purchased in France)
Disposable BBQ (Purchased in France)
3 or 4 T-Shirts (is that over the top?)
Couple of Pairs of Shorts
Jumper and Trousers
Underwear
Euro's.
Wash Stuff.
Sleeping Bag
Tickets
Cap (hide the bad hair!)

Any more?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere!

Depends on how long you are going for....

Also take a radio to keep track of things.

Remember it's not always sunny in France in June, it can get cold and wet standing at the start for 3 hours in the rain

Exactly. You'll just make the rest of us look bad. The Hawaiian Tropic girls still won't cop off with you, you know!

If you haven't been to Le Mans before, a word of warning, make sure you have decent walking shoes, boots or whatever. You will spend a lot of time on foot, make sure you are comfortable!

Car paperwork, ie insurance, break-down insurance and even the V5, although I take a photocopy of that - the French police are pretty efficient at checking this stuff if they do pull you over.

Also GB sticker, warining triangle, spare bulbs and headlamd conversion kit - all of which can usually be bought at the ferry / tunnel / port before departure.

Its the best weekend of the year and I can't wait.
