If my memory serves me correctly, (and if it's the same incident) they were caught either later that day or the following day. The police found the car in either a car park or camp site with a tarpaulin covering it to try to hide the evidence!!

I was stood about 50 metres from this incident, the car AFAIK was a French hire car with English drivers, the muppets couldn't drive though. They got the road cleared because they were really going for it, the outcome is only too evident...........

It's orignially from the K2 RUM website which no longer seems to be online.

Shame as there was quite a few other decent/amusing Le Mans clips up there including in car footage of a top donut amongst the Le Mans revellers

Hilarious, wouldnt want to have seen the face of the owner of the car that got hit. Came across a chap in a tvr350c last year who had got it all wrong coming round arnage, he had spun and gone into the armco, not clever, he reckoned he had completly wrecked the chassis!!

Was it a pearl white one? If so it was in the same supercar graveyard garage that I spent five hours in on Monday morning, waiting for some increadibly intelligent mechanic to determine that I had completely burnt my clutch out on Sunday in Beasejour........doh!
