just checked the price of a speedferries er, ferry to get to LM on my preferred sailing times of:

leave Dover: 07:45 Thursday
leave Boulougne: 17:30 Monday

and it appears to be booked up, can't get a ferry until 11 on the Thursday and midnight on the monday or tuesday morning!!!

damn, is this true or my computer playing up?

We've got 4 cars on it, and there must be another 40 on here, let alone those who are not on PH. Quite likely by now that it is booked up solid .... especially at £50 !

I booked earlier this week, the trip out there was OK on the 15th, but the best I could do on the 20th was 9pm and that was the only one left!

Could be a bit of a problem, but the site should list all the available options on the days you want to go IIRC!

don't really want to go down on the wednesday as i found in '03 was left with too much "spare" time, and friday is too late... gonna have to confer and book up the later slot on thursday asap!

how long is the price offer on for?

We found arriving on Wednesday a little early too as things handn't "warmed" up quite as much, although we only saw one police car the whole day

I'd say go down 11am on Thursday, you'll be a little late, but if you've done it before you'll know the drill, as to the return trip, perhaps a late Sunday nighter might do the trick, as I think staying all Monday would be a bit dull.

Or you could fill the day with activties after a lie-in and take the midnight crossing back, the old Reims race track isn't a huge distance from Boulogne and if you like Champagne, Epernay is very close to Reims (East of Paris).

Until they go out of business offering it for so little! They were even offering 2-for-1 in December, but we'd already booked up
