Campsites - which one and why??

There seems to be a very divided opionion on which campsite is the best, with each one attracting its loyal band of followers. Has anyone got any particular thoughts on this or is there a good guide out there??
Thinking of maybe trying somewhere other than Bleu this year....

Houx Annexe is usually fun
Mungo's spot on... Houx Annexe is for your more loony Le Mans-er... You mustn't mind loud music until the early hours, fireworks and general silly behaviour!
The roundabout antics are legendary, although getting a bit over the top at times nowadays... There's always a few who'll go a bit too far and threaten to spoil things for everyone...

looked at the tours on there site and look quite good value.
Does anyone else on PH use speedchills?
Alas a bit to far away from Houx where we'll be camping next year, but perhaps for 2006...

Good for cold beer and chilling out - over to the main grandstands for messyness. Or those sodding roundabouts for much hilarity!
Group of us had our fair share of antics on Beasejour this year.
NB - you can get fined 45Euros in Arnage for excessive acceleration if a 2 gerndarm on bikes catch you!

Chris,
they are good - if you cant be arsed drinking warm beer and cooking yer own crappy brekkie in the mornings! Plus if it rains, they have shelter!
on the downside, its in Beausjour - so it takes 30 mins to walk to the pits - although there is a bus service for part of the way. beausjour is good location for spectating - porshe curves are amazing (where the 2 lead audi's collided this year in the opening hours), albeit with restricted viewing. Plus convient for walking to Indy corner by night...
