English commentary, Radio Le Mans at Classic?

Not been before, is there any British commentary, I guess it is too much to think that Radio Le Mans would be broadcasting. I have been to the main race a number of times..........Martin

Yes, Radio Le Mans will be there - usual frequency. More entertaining chit-chat than full-on race coverage, but none the worse for that.

Is that definite Nick? It's great news if it's true but several people have said RLM will be there and several have said they won't. RLM's website doesn't seem to mention it, at least not that I can find.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they would love to be there but won't this year, but I can't find it now

They didn't broadcast two years ago either - four long years now since they did. I guess that without a major car manufacturer involvement in the race they can't generate enough sponsorship to cover costs.

Bugger ! I thought I heard them mention at the main race that they would be at the Classic, so disappointing if they're not there I forgot my radio in 2012 so wouldn't have known if they were or weren't broadcasting.

Eve Hewitt has just confirmed via Facebook that they aren't there. Apparently the issue is that the organisers couldn't provide the facilities they would need rather than anything commercial.
