Having been for the last 2 years I have to say that we've all been very disappointed in the apparent failure to appear of the stripper lorry/tent/whatever. What's happened here then? surely it's money for old rope for the girls!

Perhaps they don't want you to show them your old rope again?

yes they do seem to have disappeared recently - surely the French aren`t becoming politically correct now?

(there was only ever one worth going to anyway!)

Uncharacteristically the French have had something of a tidy up in the last couple or three years on that front.

Having said that the last time I rocked into that most classy of establishments I was reminded of my late Red Setters ears, I will leave the rest to your imagination ļ

Not just the strippers but the wall of death and a lot of the little stalls and other fairground stuff. They are what made the village worth going to, now it's just 5 euros a portion chip vans and warm beer tents.

Personally I blame Audi for this, they are the main sponsor and I think they and the ACO have tried to 'clean up' to make it a bit more family orientated. But it's dulled right down.

Bring 'em all back I say!

Wasn't so bad last year as at least Audi put on the gig with JK, nothing like that this year though.

Damn sterile company and their limp-handling cars

Mind you the R8 is pretty sweet though

That JK concert was wicked The strippers on the other hand seem to have moved, whilst on route this year on the 138 our convoy pulled into our usuall Stella watering hole only to find a big camper van with three stunning (not) females plying trade. You had to be there seeing was beleiving

Sorry gents showing my ‘Hill Billy’ roots again. Comes from a good ol’ piece of East Anglian

“Hell boy she had t_ts like a spaniels ears”

I’m sure that has painted just the sort of image you were looking for and just in case this really needs laying on a plate for those of you not familiar with good ol’ rustic humour think floppy and hairy.

Ah yes, Crazy Pigal's, New York Nights...

It was always a swizz and the birds were ropey as you like but it was an essential part of the experience.

The strippers are not a swizz, why oh why if they are a swizz do you 'FURY' go back to see them year on year, apart from last year when they were sadly lacking.
We always get our monies worth, especially the year i missed where you could still see the stiches on the ladies wares apparently, much better then Channel 5 Plastic surgery live.
What is happening to our world when even the french can't offer us honest brits some dodgy naked ladies??

Perhaps Ted could organise a "PH" stripper tent for 2005! Judging by the antics of BT&P; he should not have any trouble finding volunteers!

Great topic and how strange (not) to see furby & the fury adding to the thread...

We're off to see our friendly French colleagues in a couple of weeks and have it on our list to see if they can find a small field near to Speed Chills to house this great Le Mans institution. Note - near, not in Speed Chills!

Any votes for/against this little plan?

Neil, if you set up a stripper tent near Speedchills we won't see GI Jay all weekend!

Speed Chills stripper tent - genius. Come to the SC area to get proper english beer, fryups and naked laydeez. I'd pay extra membership for that :-)
