I've read a bit about these 'good' or 'posh' or 'private' camp sites that only let on classics or sports, can anyone post me in the right direction for them, websites? I take it they aren't ACO spots...

I'm not being a snob, it's just that last year some chav kid started kicking a football against my mates Lotus while his fat skinhead Dad just stared menacingly at us. We moved the car. Can do without it, that never used to be like that on Houx Annexe.

Wow, looks nice, but an extra 120 quid just to camp??

I think we'll take our chances then, there are 10 cars going and theres no way I'll sell everyone on that!

Houx Annexe it is, and this year we'll get the tape or some kind of fenceing to block our bit off. Everyone else does ;o)

Is anyone out there willing to vouch for clubmotorsport? It all looks good but you just can't beat personal recommendations in my experience.

Last year we went with Club Valan(www.motorsport-tours.com). It wasn't too bad, but there was definitely room for improvement. The shuttle buses to and from the circuit were particularly restrictive.

Thanks in advance....

I can recommend them highly, i had a great time there this year, the facilities are brilliant, they bring down a group of chefs from a catering college who cook all meals from friday to sunday so you don't even need to bother, the bar is stocked but obviously you can bring your own, the guys who run it do it well and are in it for the fun and are all mad on motorsport, there is on site parking which is floodlit, and although you are paying for the facilities i would say it is definitely worth it!

if you need any more info let me know!

cheers

I stayed there this year, not sure I want others to know about it. I had to wait a full 30 seconds once for one of the showers to free up, then I was fed breakfast and evening meals for 4 days and if to pissed to drive the coach took me to the track. private carpark. Bar. Tv. le mans 24 radio. but I paid for it.
