BEAMER vs 2CV - Le Houx 2002
Discussion
a nurse in our group was metres away when it happened,
she helped the old guy out of the wreckage he was in shock and was sped away in an ambulance. The beemer guy
was handcuffed and taken away, she thought the guy had been drinking as well. The 2CV shunted a range rover
up the rear, not much left of it by all accounts

We were standing a couple of metres away when the accident happened. The Beemer was crumpled flat back to the front wheel arches, but the 2CV survived astonishingly well - no boot left, but passenger cabin almost intact, albeit missing most of its glass. Not too much damage to the Rangie.
Both the Rangie and 2CV were French, the Beemer was English, and the Gendarmes understandably took a dim view of the whole thing. Scary stuff.
