I saw the parade picture with the Ms on display. There was an older Ferrari blue M (was it Ferrari blue, not sure) at Houx Annexe. I hope I'll be there parading with the M in 2004 or so.

yep that's Chris, he was in our group of 9 (along with Russ in his Tuscan S). The car was only 2 weeks old when we hit Calaise, probably explains why I lost him (in my Mondeo estate) and got to Houx 2 hours before the 2 Tuscan S's arrived. What a couple of wuss's

AWESOME

I LOVE TVR

When will there be an international TVR day in mainland Europe?

I mean Belgium, Netherlands or Germany

One question about the "Psycho" Tuscan - what's that thing sticking out of the boot!?

Is that a standard fit item now? What is it for, the DAB radio? Only reason is mine doesn't have one, but I think I'm glad. Looks a bit odd... :-/

Oh, and having followed a few earlier Tuscan's over the Le Mans weekend, I'm seriously considering removing the rear spoiler from my S.

clear indicators -
and my DAB radio is great - the head unit has all the DAB features in it so no extra boxes like the factory fit and the aerial -is the same as in the picture but is fitted inside the boot - reception is great - even picked up Radio 1 & 2 just north of Rouen -

The clear indicators look good but it has to be said the lights on the rear of the Tuscan are so unimaginative. Looks like a kit car.

Spoke to my folks last night, they've just got back from Le Mans (they weren't driving that slowly, just made a few detours). Mum was tickled pink when a matching pair of 360s (Ferraris, I assume, not Volvos) came past them at 100 or so with the tops down, followed by a Polo followed by a 911. Guess what Mum drives? She reckons the Polo driver was waiting for the 'raris to move over!

Maybe you'd have to have been a passenger with my Mum in a Nissan 300 ZX to find that funny.

Pity your exhaust was held on by guy rope though Rick (Saw you in the Calais shopping centre carpark on Monday afternoon)

On the subject of the Tuscan S modification, Russ stopped over at my place on the way to Le Mans. He turned up with half his front splitter torn off. Apparently he was on the M4 tootleling along when all of a sudden there was a load bang and the car started vibrating. Looks like even after the Evo highspeed test in Germany TVR were still sending the cars out with this known fault.

Rather ironically he had his car booked in to have the splitter strenghtening mod next week after his dealer told him it'd be fine in France and "they don't tend to fail below 180mph" - well I think he'd beg to differ now, he reckons it failed at substantially less than that (rumour has it 30mph less - naughty boy )

I see my car as similar to the Millennium Falcon – you know the quote.
The para cord was part of the brake cute – now an option on the Tuscan…..I'm just trying to make light of the situation as I wait for the return of my car....
It did hold together along the motorway at “cruising” speeds.

An excellent set of pictures Laurie. Makes me feel like I was there. Oh I was! Purple (not pink) Chimaera 500 with a bonnet problem!

Thanks for putting my Europa at the top of such a fantastic selection of motors. Shame it lost a bearing & 15 litres of Oil on the way home!

Laurie,
For some reason I cannot now open the TVRs are coming pictures. Mine is the red S3 in the middle. I did open it once but not now? Any suggestions? The parade was just fantastic.
