I'm dense, how do we go about arranging to go.

Mike,
A see you're hankering after a TVR - are you a member of the TVR Car Club - if they so offer any easy set of packages to choose from and the office will answer any questions you have.
Otherwise a number of the non-TVR groups who attend from here would be worth asking, as there are folks with decades (literally) of experience.

www.lemans.org is the official site, with the cheapest tickets. Also available from places like Page&Moy, Just Tickets, Airtrack etc.

Hankering is an understatement tripps.
And yes, have just joined the TVR car club But no TVR
If you go to your local meeting you could tag along with your region I'd say as most attend in numbers, you'd then know the folks you are with if you attend a few meets inbetween.
Thanks folks.
Must admit, I am not sure either way yet. I have never been before, and being a glastonbury / lake district / park bench sort of a chap I quite fancy kipping in a tent pretty much anywhere I go, however, I am beginning to think that I prefer the easy life.
So, I will see how it goes but thanks to all for the pointers towards the websites etc, something I will definately follow up.

Mike, are you thinking about making your own way over and camping, or are you looking for an organised trip and staying in a hotel (softy ). What day where you thinking of going over?

I've done the hotel version and the campsite version and would recommend the campsite version over and above anything else. We bought a pass for Camping Houx through Club Anarge.com at face value plus postage and had a fantastic time (after sorting the logistical problems of getting Chateau Piglet onto the pitch!). We've applied through the ACO for Houx again this year, if we don't get it we'll try for Maison Blanche as we'll be there early in the week. The big advantage of Houx is that you have a marked pitch so if you can't get there until later in the week you don't have to fight for the leftover space. The toilets and showers are nice and there is electricity hook up as well!

I wouldn't call Houx toilets/showers 'Nice'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just about passable (for a campsite) is more the mark!
Having seen other toilets at Le Mans I thought these were pretty good I'm referring to the ones just behind the circuit village though, near to the Bugatti circuit rather than further back in the main body of the campsite. These were always clean and well looked after.

Mind you, we showered (not together!) around midnight, as the morning queues were a bit silly.
