Hello Guys,

With the trip nearing i am trying to get organised. Its been about 4 years since i have come to Le Mans and i have totally forgotten all my usual haunts!

What is the swimming pool called near the circuit, it has an outside part with slides/rapids and also an indoor part.

Google is not helping for once frown

Thanks in advance!

Adam

I had a very frightening experience in 2009 when they spotted I didn't have speedos! I was frog marched to the lost property in a place no one could hear my screams. Eventually I enjoyed the pool and slides but didn't enjoy wearing someones lost speedos!!! Nice thoughts......nice thoughts.....(while rocking on my chair)yikes

By the way to get there take tram towards town, get off at SAINT MARTIN change there to tram heading towards ESPAL. Get off at Atlantides-Sablons (2nd stop) then walk in the direction tram was heading and on right hand side is a foot bridge across the river that goes straight to the front door of the swimming pool. You only need to buy 1 ticket for both trams as it will be valid for 1 hour from when you 1st stamp it. Whole journey should take 30 mins or so.

You were lucky. When we went they only had one bikini and some gaffer tape. I've since changed my name to Bridget and drive a Renault Modus. My mate who had the gaffer tape still has permanently watery eyes and has a fit when anyone opens an envelope let alone a parcel. Ouch !

ah, happy times. With the vending machine sold out of men's speedos, a few of our group had to buy bikinis from the machine to wear the bottoms. Only available in size small. Seeing these boys walking around the changing room had me doubled over in laughter, and that was before they hit the pool at the foot of the waterslide...

hehe I love waterslides as much as the next man, but I would have to draw the line at a gaffer taped bikini!

Well funny stories above! rofl Can't remember seeing speedo / bikini vending machine in 2009. Well worth a visit though if the weathers nice as long as you can manage to cover your bits and pieces with something which is French government approved!
