Le Mans School Trip

I've just been having a chat with a lovely young lady in the office at work and it transpires that her school used to run their annual French trip to LE MANS every year! About 25 kids got to travel down with a couple of Petrol Head teachers to 'immerse' themselves into French culture..(and the race)

Walton Le Dale High School in Bamber Bridge, Preston - FAIR PLAY! Why couldn't my old school trips be like that.

Anyone else had the pleasure of having a petrol head teacher swinging freebies to motor races by bringing a few kids along?

my school trip to France back in about '97 went about 100km from Le Mans the week after the race (ok, so i just saw "Le Mans" on a motorway sign and got excited) but that is crazy...

...i wish i could do that!

100 Km from Le Mans is close enough to get the blood pumping for any true petrolhead..

By the way, there was a conspicuous Cav shaped gap in the car park of Club Motorsport this year.. Hope you'll be back in 2005 Gareth..
