Fresh with enthusiasm from recent trips to Le Mans, many people are already planning next year's jaunt to France.

Right with you Vlad, if your not there camping, experiencing the racing at different points and times around the circuit it's just not the same. As Gaz Top said on Speed Sunday, It's Glastonbury for petrolheads, and you can't do that in a stately home an hour away from the track.

Erm… so you drive to and from the circuit yourself and the way you spend the day at the races is entirely up to you. So basically all they’ve done is booked a hotel near Le Mans over the race weekend. What value is Bonne Route adding over just doing it yourself? OK you get the ferry and circuit entrance thrown in too but that’s hardly a major logistical exercise sorting that out yourself is it?

Also agree that you would loose that atmosphere by staying in a an hours drive away.

for me, there is no way I would stay away from the circuit. It would completely ruin the point of le mans and the camping and piss ups that go with it make the weekend what it is.

But, for example, if my dad wanted to come along, something like this would suit him much more than camping with a load of loud people, with loud cars and a 24 hour race going on all around him.
