Met loads of you at LM this year and it was grrrreat. I'll start by saying, sorry if I havent mentioned you here. Saw so many Im having trouble remembering all the names!

Probbaly the most memorable will be Tonyy996, rviant, MrTony and gang and their drinking games in the Square on Friday.

I though MrTony was winning* until I saw rviant at the end of the night! drink:

*thats if winning means being the most drunk!

Good to meet you all there. Saw you a quite a few places too, we must have been doing the same circuit over the weekend. The roads were great fun.
Thanks for telling us about the Friday lunch place. We'll do it every year now and perhaps even get the right pub next time!

Also managed to meet up with;

Crimsonking500 at the beginning of our convoy. A carefully planned meeting which actually worked!

Ian-d wearing a kilt in his fantastic old Bently with a huge PH flag out the roof. Well done Ian. Must be a memorable experience driving that all the way down.

GT5s in his lovely Pantera. Fantastic car. (sorry I got your name wrong!)

Shnozz in flat cap and pipe at 6am Thursday morning!
Also at Arnarge with flasher, clair, physcobert, mel and co. edited: just added mel as I remembered him there as soon as I saw him post! Sorry mate!

TVRCC Surrey lot and that damned Monkey (who looked rather drunk).

Ehasler, in the tunnel carrying David Baileys locker.

Lake, who I parked next to at Arnage corner (I now have pictures of our two cars parked together in so many different places. Not going to Italy in September are you?!).

Also loads of others at Arnarge corner who Im trying to remember now! I do remember meeting rudegirl but only because she told me to guess who she was!

Rik Wilson - If you read this I saw your camp but each time I walked past it was empty.

"big CC's" and his lovely Ultima on the way home. Welcome to Pistonheads!

and of course cuzza, _dj_ and mark_TVRloud who all helped to make it my best year at Le Mans yet.

Thanks all, see you there next year. I cant wait!

There should be quite a few people joining PH soon too
hello!

Dusty C, the wallet remembers the trip for a longggg time. spotted a fair few PHs as well, many in TVRs and other exotica and also had a chat to a few others. i bet that with so many PH stickers on the cars the site will expand further.

My thoughts exactly Ian.

The Tshirts and stickers obviously stood out since even radioLM mentioned that "its good to see that Pistonheads have turned up in sucj strong numbers to support the TVRs".
I guess they thought it was a TVR site due to the huge amount of Tiv's with stickers.

Adam, we saw you in Chateau-sur-Loire, but did you ever make it to Chartres-sur-Loire, it's a bit further but even more great driving roads!

Won't try and mention all the Ph'ers we met up with or saw on our travels.... but will say that it was one of the better Le Mans from my point of view, however saying that, I don't think I've ever come back and not totally enjoyed it.

Camping in Houx was great, our group (which included RViant, MrTony, Oggs, 5150, C3 GTK and other non PH'ers) were "entertaining" to say the least... 2 of the above were also relieved of their licences and surplus cash by "les flics".

And after reading some of the other posts... were we loud, obnoxious, p!ssed out of our minds, etc?...I certainly hope so... no different to the last 16 years!!

Yeah I got the wrong C-s-L! There were a few other Brits in sports cars enjoying lunch there too.
Next year I'll get it right.

Being drunk isn't the problem, its the gravel wheelspins and damaging of other cars that causes the problems. Fortunately our area was OK though and I had the best LM yet since the first in '97

I had a weird one on Saturday morning, was crawling along Mulsanne in the traffic when a group sat next to the road went "thats Mel" "weeee hay Mel" I haven't a bloody clue who it was so I smiled, looked awkward and continued crawling down the road.

Anyone care to come clean ?

I had a few of them too Mel, mostly 'nice photo' comments!

The Mulsanne 'YMCA' club was hilarious too!

You thought I was winning! Thought I was keeping it together pretty well (at least I wasn't wearing the wine unlike some others around the area!)

Good to see you there (And I do remember - I owe you a guinness next PH meet!)

Have to give a quick shout to Furby who I met on the track at the finish - hope the speedster made it back ok.

Also good to see Flasher mel schnozz benno etc in Houx - good to ahve another Masser around, we're a rare breed!

Hi to John Yates too (how many pics do you have of the diabolo!)

I did have a piece of card to chuck through your window but realised it could go horribly wrong and result it a big bad Cerb eating several spectators so I just shouted a lot instead!

Took some pics, I'll send them through later.

Chatted to Dickie Boy in the queue for the loos at the bar during the Parade but he probably won't remember as he was shitfaced!
Also spoke to Fletch in the same queue and Podie and Valhalla waiting proudly by the cars for the parade to start. Think it was Podie that had the huge flag pole with the pistonheads flag and the TVR flag!

Should get the pics back today! Got one of Johnny O'Connell in my car, he is such a nice guy, I first met him at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans in 2002 and he is a "top geezer"
