Le Mans Classic
Discussion
Bugger..managed to miss the big event this year, would have been great to watch the 2 TVRs finish.
I'm thinking of going to Le Classic to try and make up for missing Le 24Hrs. Anyone out there want to tell me if it's anything like as good, is it a big camping event, will there be many there, etc etc..
Already planning to be at the main event next year. Not to be missed again.

It is a smaller event than the June event. If you like classic/heritage race cars then it is a must. I went in '02 and vowed to come back everytime they run it.
I choose to stay in hotels and can advise you if you want some help, we have ahotel within 10 miles of the circuit entrance that seems to still be taking bookings. It is a Formula 1 but in a nice village with bars and restaurants nearby (apparently)
The fun factor of the June event is not so apparent but I don't see that as a negative and can't wait for the 23rd july for the set sail.
Ask any other questions and I will endeavour to answer....
Cheers,
Mark B
PS - Anyone else from here going?
