Well just got back...so thought I'd be the first of Mid-Essex to post.

What a incredible weekend!!! My first Le Mans (testing weekend excluded of course) and to be there and see BOTH TVRs coming home was just awesome. Its hard to describe the atmosphere when they both started to pair up 40 mins from the end and crossed the line together...!

Great reception for Michael and the boys...LOTS of bottles of champagne was drunk by all with the Peter Wheeler, supporters and the whole team

Even better that I was lucky enough to be in the parade and what a day it was on the Friday! Myself and the other 4 cars (including Ben S in the Typhon) had a fantastic day (shame about the small prob with the coming together of the 'Porsche' with the Typhon...thats another thread )

Oh and a great Mid-Essex crew and all the others I met along the way...

I'm now off to have a decent bath and 'loads' of shut eye....

Alan.

Just finished the three post LM SHs (sh*t, shave, shower)

Yes, that was an incredible weekend and not to be missed. Big hugs for the TVR crew and all involved. That's a huge success, very well done.

I've got loads of pictures. If anyone wants a CD please PM me.

354 days and counting... roll on LM 2005.

I will catch some Zzzzs now, good night.

Any pics Alf? (parade/Typhon etc)

There seems to be a severe lack of pics this year (in general).........or maybe those who went are still nursing hangovers.

There are loads of pics taken of the parade by Ed (ehasler) who was my passenger for the event and loads more in terms of pics and video...especially by Podie who was my passenger on the journey down and back.

Should start seeing them any day now we are all back!

Just crawled into work 2 hours late ... absolutely knackered but had a great time.

A big thanks to Big M and TdF for the organisation, another big thanks to Mrs TdF, N17 and everyone else who cooked for the group, and a massive thanks to Alf Essex for letting me have the co-pilot seat and to Lake who let me fold myself into the back of his Cerb for the Parade de Pilotes...

Thanks guys!

PS - the video footage is pretty good

Thanks for all your help guys - will be posting some photos when I get my camera fully charged (I promise not to post the one I took up the skirt of the bloke in drag) - and doing a hall of fame roll call to everyone who helped in making the event THE Mid Essex Event of the year. (Sorry you missed it Pauline )

Thank god I have the day off today - off to do the food shopping in a minute then I need to go and pick the strawberries off the allotment (more jam Podie?)

To all you mid-essexers out there, here is a pic of drum4it2, about to taste some chips, in a gas station in northern Spain, after driving 500 miles from Le Mans.

Mate, if you're reading this I enjoyed meeting you both and hope you have a great trip home. Cheers.
