So then what are those left behind in the UK going to be getting up to whilst their other halves are away doing their thing at Le Mans?

I thought I would invite Robbie Williams or maybe Richard Hammond round for tea............ Oh one can dream.

Reality is a far more real proposition looking after two children under three and trying to remember to record the TV coverage of the race for his lordship when he returns. And if that isn't exciting enough I can watch Big Brother.

motoring widow, good name!

Well you can get a nice hot bath ready and be waiting with a bucket of soapy water to clean the car of as he soaks away the sweat of all the hard work he has put into 24hours of building beer mountains, tyre smoking and competing in the compulsory bedding of french girls.

that last bit isnt quite true. Just trying to shock you

My other half has planned to try to put the finishing touches to the Westfield, lunch with his sister and finishing the bottle of Drambuie we started this weekend

Unfortunately, it is his birthday (a big one!!!) as well, so I will have to do some serious grovelling when I return.

Well to be honest I am not bothered what he gets up to (he keeps talking about the Hawian Tropic Girls - should I be worried?) as long as I don't have to live through it as well!!!!!

At the moment we have packing being conducted in most rooms of the house and he now likes Yellow T Shirts!!!

Unfortunatly, me AND Raceboy will be left behind this year due to no TVR so our weekend will be spent drinking lager that's cold, eating everything apart from french stick and croissants and being able to on a proper english toilet, all while Le Mans is playing on TV for the whole 24 hours.

How does it work - first to find a shaved armpit wins??

My other half is getting her sister round and they're having 'girlie weekend' = lots of wine and talking

Shes being optimistic
EuroSport will be showing a lot of coverage and I think MotorsTV will be showing quite a bit along with ITV But I can't see anyone showning all 24 hours
Unless she means the playstation runnind Le Mans in the bedroom set to 24 hour mode
