I wouldn't worry too much about this until it is confirmed but there are rumours circulating that the road between Mulsanne corner & Porsche Curves will be closed from Wednesday pm till after the race.

Far fetched maybe, but knowing the French propensity to spoil our fun, not beyond the realms of possibility.

If you look at the link I posted in the main PH Meet thread the rumour of road closures has been denied by someone 'who knows someone at the ACO'.

Incase of a road closure in that area I propose we meet at the Sports Shop half way down the Mulsanne straight, outfield of the circuit.

Hopefully someone will remember the name of this place.
It is a big modern white wharehouse with glass front and has a large car park. Its a bit further up than the mulsanne straight resturuants and on a roundabout.

Its also opposite the big doomed exhibition building which is infield (ie, other side of mulsanne straight).

What do you all reckon?

another idea is to meet at the entrance of your campsite between 10 - 10:30 and all leave from there. Might make it easier for first timers.

(well, for all of us actually. I guess my way round that place everytime. The police dont help by constantly changing the Arnage corner one way system!)

Here is a pic of the "doomed" building I was mentioning.

If you have the Autosport guide go to page 46.

The is a circuit map.

The mulsanne straight is the N138.
The road that crosses it byt the roundabout is the D92.
I believe the sports shop is near this roundabout.
