I booked camping tickets via the ACO website back in early April, but have not yet received anything in the post yet. My card was debited two days after the order was put through and I notice that on my confirmation email it says:

"Your product will be available to the reception."

Is this a dodgy french translation meaning I have to collect them from the ACO when I get to Le Mans or should they have been sent to me by now? Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation, before I get onto the ACO to find out what's going on.

Thanks

Tom

This is what I received from aco last week in response last week. Hope it helps.

Hello,

We are pleased to inform you that tickets whose number is included between 1
and 2171 have been sent about 10 days ago. So, if you order number is
comprised between these two figures, you should receive your tickets very
soon if it is not already done as it is the case for some customers.

As for orders who have a number larger than 2171, the tickets have not been
sent yet. They will normally be posted around the 1st of June and this will
allow you to receive them before the race.

Well my order ref. No. is in the first batch in your email so I guess I'll just have to wait a little longer! It's my first trip so I'm not quite sure what to expect really. Thanks for your help though!

When we ordered our tickets from the ACO there was a choice of either collecting at their reception or paying for registered post. Sounds to me like either you didn't opt to pay for postage or they've made a mistake and have retained them for you to collect.

Try emailling them - I've mailed acouple of times - got the email from the web site (lemans.org) and they've always responded swiftly.

It sounds like you've booked Beausejour, as I booked in February and that was all that was left. The cost was 45 euro + 9 euro postage, the ticket arrived last Saturday morning order number in the 1300 s(I wasn't aware of the pick up option).

So if your charge was only 45 euro (or multiple) then it seems like you will have to pick up, best check the opening hours though.
