Le Mans Hospitality

£10 buys you cold beer and TV all weekend!

A new hospitality service launched this year hopes to cater to LMers seeking cold beer and footy on the TV.

There's long been a need for some basic hospitality at Le Mans and "Speed Chills" hope to address that need.  Their new private members club is located next to the Beausejour campsite, 25 minutes walk from the start/finish enclosure.

Throughout the week they'll be providing big screen satellite TV (football coverage), food in a 50 seat dining marquee and cold draught beer!

Membership is just £10 - might be worth it for cold beer alone!

I've just contacted them and got a very speedy reply so have signed up for 5 of us. The club closes at midnight on Sunday so plenty of time to enjoy the footy and the GP.

Rather have warm beer than watch the footie ? What are you - Australian ?

Please can they do anything on telly accept football! I am fed up to the back teeth with 'kevball' and the associated goings on of a bunch of overpaid hairdressers!
Rant over.......cold beer sounds good though!

Good to see some other people around with the same opinions as me. (ie more beer less football!)

I wonder how many people will be going to the football and trying to find out the Le Mans results whilst there?

I'm in the no-football on TV club. Can we get a discount if we don't look at the screen?

More importantly, will they be showing the LM leaderboard through out the race?

what a load of whingers. I am not interested in the world indoor bowls championship but I dont chuck my toys out of my pram cos it flicks other people's switch. If you dont want to watch the footie, dont. easy, look the other way, buy blinkers or do whatever you must. Get bored of hearing the "I dont like football" comments.

Got to agree with the man, if you cant raise any interest when England play France in the opening fixture of the group in the European championships, then one has to question "what Ron rating your fuel is", if you get my drift

Personally I am more than a bit p*ssed off to find there is a race on that weekend, and want to know why it wasnt fully explained to me when I paid for the tickets.

I just assumed we were all going for a nice drive, and some bar-b-q's and to watch 6 matches in France, now I will be barely able hear the commentary. Still at least it will only last 3 hours and that Shoemakers bound to win........

If you're still debating about joining, then you're probably too late, I received an email confirming my membership that stated that the online form was going to be removed.

I've just checked and it is still there so you might have a chance.

PS I'm not in anyway connected with speedchills!
