Not been for a few years and can't find the radio hat I had.

Do Radio Le Mans sell these at the circuit or are they a rip off and I'd best buy a small
unit here in Blighty before I go?

ISTR my mate spent around 15-20 quid on a LM radio hat. You're better off with getting a small radio from Argos - or at the local Carrefour (sp?)

I got myself a mp3 player with radio and micro. Now I'm able to record the sounds of LM for the cold winter months. The neighbours will love it (e.g. listening to a Dallara Judd or Corvette C5-R running through the living room at full blast).

The micro radios from the gadget shop served us well last year. You can get your ear defenders over them and still hear the commentary/banter.

They even come with spare batteries.

Blatant Advert here ....

My Missus works for a company that makes and sells personal radio's (from the in the ear stuff, to the full on headphones with surround sound, and noise restrictors.) if anyone wants them (about £6 each I think))I'll make some enquiries.. they are fixed frequency, with Lanyard (ariel is in the lanyard).

if there is interest, email me offline, and I'll put you in touch.
