Dont worry about the sticker at all. I have been going to LM for a good few years now and none of our convoy ever bothers. They dont seem to be strict on it.

If you have plates which display the the letters GB on the blue background with the ring of stars, them you will not need to worry about putting any other GB stickers on your paintwork.

No you dont need it if you have a 'Euro' plate.

However carrying your registration documents is a mandatory requirement in France and you can be fined heavily for not producing them within 5 days......

Do most people take a photocopy or not bother ? Dont fancy losing the originals

The post you did a week or so ago made the rules in Spain look rather strict. Gotta be worth keeping one in the boot (if you can fit it in you big lard arsed car!)

Its was my first trip driving abroad when I went to the Le Mans testing the other week with a bunch of Mid-Essex cars and have to say I was surprised how easy it was...never been on a motorway on a Saturday that was empty before!! The French love the cars also and can't wait to get back in 3 weeks time... Sure the roads will be busier though this time...

Roads still arent that busy until you get nearer to LM.

Best thing is the amount of Brits you see on the way down.

Hi, does anyone know whether both plates need to have the GB on blue background, or just the rear plate?

Know it's a minor technicality, but it would be useful to know.

Thanks, Phil.
