Last year my own crew started the hoon-fest with a wager along the lines of £50 in the pot and name the make of vehicle you see broken down on the other side of the channel. Strictly winner takes with the winner buying food and booze on the first night (we needed another whip round before the end of the day I hasten to add)

Anyway the list comprised Tiv’s, Nobles, Ultimas, Caterhams etc with my cheeky cousin going on Porsche

Not 5 miles into France what did we see in a cloud of smoke on the hard shoulder, you’ve guessed it.


So then folks, where’s this year’s money going?
