decisions decisions.

no way I am driving anywhere to watch the footie. So either I leave an hour before the end of the race, find a nice hotel somewhere and park up for the night.

Or I can walk to somewhere showing the game from Houx.

Whats everyone else planning on doing?

I'm hoping that the Lotus / Caterham 7 club have their huge marquee and giant telly in Camping Blue again. We watched england v denmark in the world cup 2 years ago, and last year they had the canadian grand prix. They charge a few euros entry for chairidy, but it's nice and close to maison blanche where we are staying.

maybe one of the lotus/caterhams guys can post a reply. Sunday is always a cool night, but even though the racing had finished still couldn't get any sleep throught the night because of the thousands of fireworks that were going off for hours on end. Brilliant!

how about arranging a Houx PHs night out in LM town (or are we likely to get mugged by the pissed off locals when we beat them)

I was planning to find a bar which is showing it when we go to the parade on Friday.

shnozz, still no answer. I'll try and find out tonight.

Its more likely that we will walk into Arnage and have a bit to eat and watch the game in a bar.
The atmosphere in Arnage is excellent.

Tony we could always just get a TV in france and watch it at our motorhome if the Motorhome guys bother to turn up that is

there are 18 of us so even if we get a £90 pound french tele its still a fiver each and Houx has electrics

Viant, good idea... but knowing our organisational skills, there won't be too many Electrical Appliance shops open at 7.30pm on the Sunday night!?!

If the 2002 World Cup's anything to go by you wont have problems finding a telly in Houx Annexe to watch the game on. There's usually dozens of Sat dishes in the site (you might need to get em to tune it off the porn channels !!) My suggestion is to have a wander round and just get chatting, don't forget to have loads of beers. Some for yourself AND some for your unexpected hosts ! If you really can't find one there (quite unbelievable)why not try the bar just outside Terte Rouge corner or walk into town from there,Arnage is quite a trek from Houx I'd have thought. The main road into town has a few bars as I remember. That said. As I'm camping in Beausejour I would hope to be in the PMU Sports bar in Arnage.......

Not long (and that way).

Or to be more helpful, about 30 mins and out of Masion blanche, turn left at road and follow the road.
(MB is near main entrance. Swap "MB" for "main entrance" and the instructions are the same).

From Houx walk through the track to porsche curves and go through the tunnel. Usually hundreds of people walking from Houx/blanche/bleu to Arnage so just ask and follow!

Andykent - L7 Club will be there. We'll have the match and the f1 as per usual.

Entry either 10€ or £10 (haven't decided yet) all of which goes to the Leukaemia Research Fund - see here|www.lrf.org.uk/en/1/successstoriesclubs.htmlfor more details.

Over £20k of this figure has been raised by the Club at Le Mans over the last 10 years.

Pistonheads are of course welcome - program times will be pinned to the wall of the gents bog on Bleu. Arrive early, but not so early we send you away again!
