Interesting…
So, you approached me on Sunday post race, as we were packing up and I asked you if you could just reverse a little as I couldn’t move the cable.
Looking at me like I was dirt you stated after 5/6 seconds “yeah, well you could have put it nearer your camp couldn’t you”… this on a Sunday at 5pm when you were leaving you decide to tell me that a briefcase generator put in an unused area at the back of our allocated space was an issue. The same generator that was used sparingly on a Sat evening to watch the race and then from 7pm until 2am Sunday morning as I watched the race at the campsite.
You literally have a Cadillac there destroying ears and a minimally used generator causes you to come on here hoping to get some validation to a moan. Did you go and shout and sneer at the concerts and the Mustangs?
After our introduction I told you I needed you to move your car not have you “speak to me like s**t”. To which you promptly did. Maddest thing is if you’d have said on Saturday when we turned it on we’d have moved it a couple of metres away from the unoccupied back fence for you.
We’re literally some of most approachable and friendly lads on HA, yeah we have a laugh and play music but never take the piss, the Hungarians next to you that kept joining us to have a drink and the couple on the other side to us who were great too bare testament to that. So yeah, we’re not going to apologise for that now or never.
We’ll be in the same spot next year, as every year, feel free to ask us to turn the generator down that we’ve had in the same place for 7+ years, preferably not on a Sunday at 5pm.
