Congrats to Ferrari.

Great race from Ferrari. I expected Toyota to win at the mid way point

F1 is not removing tyre warmers.

Keeps a British business going, they are made in the UK.

Just meant that it might be more appropriate to create a dedicated thread for such a debate rather than trying to subvert this one. That's all

Well that was an excellent race. Even the extended safety car just meant I could grab a few hours kip without missing anything exciting!

Cheers all. Until next year!

Well done, drivers and team of cars 50, 22 and 91. smile

I was surprised by how well Cadillac did, to be fair.

I was disappointed by Peugeot. I hoped BoP would help them out a bit.

Great race!

I think it's important to remember that the only reason we have Hypercars finishing so far off the podium - is that we started with 23 Hypercars!

As bad as Bungle in the first series of Rainbow.

Great end to the race, I'm not sure how much notice #7 took of the radio saying settle for 2nd, he got the gap down from 30 to 14 seconds.

Enjoyed the race, this is the most I've kept up with the action in a number of years. Eurosport coverage via Discovery+ app was great.

Was it just me or did they totally miss Toyota in the presentation of trophies on the podium? They seemed a bit left out in all the Ferrari hubbub.

Agreed. They need to sort out the Safety Car procedure. As soon as it's thrown, you just know it will be at best two hours.

Generally a fantastic race apart from the extended safety car periods, but kept me watching for almost the entirety. Makes F1 look deeply pedestrian…
