Wow that helicopter shot was cool. The wake behind that Ferrari was like the wake of a power boat on the plane. Or the vortices on a fighter jet.

Christ how stupid are these people

If the flag drops just after the Ferrari, the Toyota cannot catch them (they can limp round to the flag at 80kph)

Over 30 years ago my kids started cadet kart racing at Rye House. I took a stop watch to the track and timed the speed of the kid in last place. When my son could go that fast we entered for our first race. This plan worked out fine. He had someone to latch on to and race with.

After a while a new kid and dad came along to start racing, but he was so painfully slow, he couldn’t keep up with anybody, and got passed by the entire field. It was sad to watch. With the other dads, I talked about whether we should have a word with the dad to suggest he wasn’t doing the boy any favours, and might it not be a better idea to hold off bit until he could at least keep up with the slowest. But in the end, we didn’t, and decided it wasn’t our business.

This lad’s name was Oliver Jarvis. He is now leading LMP2 at Le Mans with 12 minutes to go.

Cool story

(I mean that totally genuinely not in a sarcastic way)

They would also have to make sure the lap is under 7 or 8 minutes.

Still say we should get extra time for all the SC running. I'm not done. hehe

Coming down to the wire. Apparently Nielson barely has enough 'virtual energy' to make it to the line.

It would be very current Ferrari if it conks out in Karting.

It’s not going to make it round a victory lap.

He did 100 to 10% in 49 mins, so 1 more lap with 10% is pretty doable.

I have to say that, although it feels like they got some traditional leniency in penalties, it's bloody good to see a Ferrari win Le Mans again.

Just for the history of it.

And maybe now they can fk off with threatening to leave F1 all the time. hehe

Would have been nice to see the Porsche get 3rd but a good race. Very enjoyable.
