Spotted something very similar if it wasn't you, on the m11 this morning at 7.15-7.30am heading south as I was cutting through on the bike.

What are the unofficial PH rules about driving a stickered-up car?
I’d not planned on driving mine except to fill it up the day before we leave.
Now it looks as though I might need to use it- have another car to use but will need to unload that one…
Is there a PH sticker “I know I look ridiculous but it’s just for Le Mans - honest”

I usually just tolerate the doubletakes. If they're not into cars, it seems it goes unnoticed, if they are, you get into quite a few petrol station conversations and motorway thumbs ups.

It's for a highly respected and known race so at no point do I ever feel the need to "justify" my stickers, especially to people who's opinion I didn't ask for.

I've had mine on since 2022 when I did the Classic!! I'll be adding more later (& MrsC won't travel in it as a result hehe) - i naturally don't see what the problem is but any self-respecting petrolhead will "know" the relevance wink

Does it really matter? Who sets rules for these things?

If you know, you know.

Off at stupid O'clock in the morning. Hope to see some of you on the route down, if not have a safe journey to that hallowed ground.
