Weather looking ominous...
Discussion
So it looks like it's going to lash it down tomorrow.
Does anyone know what the site's like in weather like this? This will be my second visit but we were blessed with good weather last year.
I'm still keen to go in principle, but if it's going to be a day of standing knee deep in mud and they don't run cars then it's somewhat less appealing given the 4 hour round trip.
So - will it be a quagmire?
Will anything run the course in wet conditions?
Any info is useful, even if it's just so we know to bring a good book to stave boredom.

When it rained torrentially a couple of years ago they were woefully unprepared but a mate who's been a few times said it is better now with matting to walk on etc. Biggest problem at Cholmondley is always the carparks though - not very flat and prone to waterlogging. Take your wellies!
Looks like I chose the right event this year,. It was Le Mans this year and the weather is great for Sat with a bit of rain for Sunday. We had a great day at Cholmondeley last year with the weather being brilliant sunshine. It does look like you are going to get a soaking, but that's UK for you.
Actually turned out not too bad so far. Friday stayed dry, forecast thundery storms didn't get as far north as here. It rained overnight but not heavily, and while it was still light rain this morning it had pretty much gone off by the time the first few timed runs were going on, and didn't come back on until late afternoon.
