Depends on how you finance it, but their PCP apr is crap at 9.9%.
Toyota dealers offering 0% and £2500 contribution, to make the deal similar for the general public.

If buying with cash, surely a lightly used model would be a better deal?

There are no lightly used and what I can find are more than this. Instant bank costs are under 6% without looking around

You probably wont find a lightly used touring - they are only just out.
There are a few lightly used non touring pre facelift around for 22 -25k

If you have already applied for a loan under 6%, I apologise, but not everyone gets the advertised rate (eg hardly anyone!)

I agree, that is an astonishing deal for a car that has only just come out and that has had really good reviews.

Toyota seem to have a strategy of targeting certain niches with aggressive deals in order to get the cars out there. A couple of years ago they did it with version 1 of the standard bz4x. Nobody was buying it so they did fire sale deals to the private hire sector (Uber etc.) and as a result they are everywhere in London and I guess they get the income from servicing and maintenance because most of the drivers will want to keep the main dealer service history in order to get the extended warranty.

Seems like here it's similar except for UK forces.

Range is short, which isn’t that big a deal, but its fast-charging speed is very poor, so it would be a painful road-tripper for many people.

10%-80% is meant to take around 30 minutes on a 150kw charger. Doesn't sound too bad, even if not up to the fastest.

If it’s a 2025 car, the 80% “fast”
charge time is closer to an hour, and the 70 mph motorway range around 160 miles.

2026 car are better, but still far behind state-of-the-art…

You clearly haven’t looked at the linked vehicle originally posted, it was only released mid 26.
