Looking for a smaller car than my Tesla Model 3 and just watched a very favourable review of the new electric Polo. My previous E-Golf was agreat car thwarted by a mediocre range. The new Polo promises 180-250 miles range depending on battery size. Just wondering when I can expect to order one?

I've watched a couple of the reviews of this new Polo EV too - it's look a major step forward for small cars.

Lots of a analogue buttons, more interior & boot space space than Golf but with a smaller footprint, from around £22k for the small battery model and a bit more for the 280 mile WLTP range one.

Very good effort VW smile

I’ve not watched the reviews yet, but if the rear seat packaging is ok and it can take four adults for short trips, then Renault will have a fight on their hands I suspect.

Could well see one of these (well a GTi / Clubsport one) replacing the wife’s Golf R in a few years once she’s finished scratching her final ‘pretty Red Golf’ itch biggrin

The rear footwell space and boot size is impressive.

As the presenter says about the rear of the Renault 5... "my knees are up to my tits!"

biglaugh well, there we go then! This could be a very solid hit for VW - good timing as the Mandate really starts to ramp up.

I saw a review and am definitely in the market for something like that to replace my aging Seat Mii.

But OMFG they seem to have taken people requests for analogue buttons a bit too seriously! The dash and the steering wheel are a real mess - that’s worse than having just a touch screen like in my Tesla Model Y.
