Contemplating a new job and therefore current company car would go back. Need to provide my own car for the new job and an EV would fit the bill well. I estimate that my annual mileage would be 15k to 20k miles per annum, which rather screws up the monthly cost on most leases.

Other option is a second hand EV (e.g. Kia e-Niro, MG5 SW etc) which seem to be available for ~£12k.

Anybody found any lease companies that focus on leasing cars for higher annual mileages? Is leasing a second hand car ‘a thing’? Found Arval’s website earlier and that had some second hand EVs, but the lease cost didn’t seem much better value than new.

If I’m paying ~£500/mth to lease something, feels better value to just stump up £12k to buy outright and run the car indefinitely.

When I was doing high mileage buying a second hand car was by far the best option. I went for a car with some manufacturer warranty and a full service history. It is then just tyres and brakes to worry about and yes charging.
