I was ordering a gv60, however work dragged ass on confirming some financial stuff, in which time the polestar 4 has had an offer applied, which makes it an equally viable option, one with more space and a brand new model. Anyone here got one? 22kw home charging also!

Do you have 3-phase electricity?

Also seen range tests at 75mph in drizzle showing 260miles.

I’m guessing there’s not many in the wild yet?

I have one - delivered to me Wednesday afternoon and only just back from the detailers after the obligatory ceramic coating.

It's the dual motor Performance in Storm with the nappa leather - and it's fantastic. It's replacing my second Model S and is light years ahead in terms of build quality and fit/finish. My detailer who works on some very nice cars was highly impressed about the quality and it drives beautifully.

The software is ok, there may be a couple of bugs but equally I've not saved settings as I should have so don't want to tar it with the same brush I'd use when describing Tesla's approach to software.

I also have a dumb Tesla wall charger at home nad that works fine with it (as it shuld) although not 3 phase.

Much too early to talk about range/efficiency but I'm not expecting it to be as good as the Tesla.

Happy to anser any quesitons if I can and a pic attached, hopefully!

nice combo.

whats the ride like with the adaptive dampers?

I'm looking at the DM or single motor, with plus pack and Mist Tailored Knit with Zinc deco for the interior.

don't suppose you've a dog you'll stick in the back? I'd like know how much height there is in there with the boot floor removed.

Glad you're impressed with the overall quality.

The suspension has 3 settings and it's on standard which is the softest. Given it's on 22's the ride is fine - firmish but defo not crashy and deals well with South London / Surrey road surfaces.

No dog I'm afraid and if not too far to travel I think I'd go and have a look. If you removed the floor wouldn't that leave the lower boot exposed and a tad hazardous for the dog?

Orders in for DM with the cloth upgrade interior and plus pack. Hopefully it goes though while the 'offer' is on.

let us know how you get on with the car? Think there's 3 of us at work trying to make the cut off.

How are you getting on? I’ve read there’s a couple of software bugs(that are being fixed). Happy still?

I'm very happy indeed, it is a lovely car to drive and passengers have commented very favourably too. To my eyes it looks really good and others have said how good it looks.

It's not quite as efficent as the Tesla but that's as expected.

Yes, there are a few bugs, the most common and are intermittemt are the HUD sometimes not being available, the haptic steering wheels buttons not working, the key fob not recognising the profile and not unlocking the car, so you need to press the door handle. Sometimes Apple Car Play won't connect either. They are slightly frustrating when/if they occur but will be rectified with an OTA. Coming from Tesla it's nothing I haven't seen many times before and doesn't really bother me. Nor do any of them impact on the driving experience.

Similarly the Pilot Assist isn't great but I didn't expect it to be so my expections have been met!

How have you found the efficiency so far? Get anywhere close to the claimed? How have you found the lack of rear window?

I ordered an AWD Mach-E through work last week, but now I can get a LRDM Performance 4 for not much more a month.

My order finally went in today, I need to ask when the lease co think delivery will be.

Glad you’re getting on well with it. I’m hoping by my delivery the initial bugs would have been sorted biggrin

I was quite impressed with the range tests from me so far, knowing it’ll only get better with further updates.

Ignoring short trips where efficiency is generally poor, I've done two motorway trips of 113 and 151 miles. On both consumption was 36kWh/100 miles and I was driving in the "outside" lane at whatever speed that happended to be. Once or twice I had the opportunity just to test it at what would be considered very uneconomical speeds (if you get my drift). Weather was around 17 degrees and I'm on the 22" inch wheels. It's not as effeicnt as my Model S was but I'm not unhappy with it. No idea how far from the WLTP it is tbh.

The lack of rear window is of no concern whatsoever and the view from the camera feed is far better IMO than a mirror. I have driven in pouring rain and the view is many times better than what you'd get through a rain covered window. It is slightly disconcerting as vehicles seem very close when in fact there aren't, I guess because the camera is on the roof so it can look like the following vehicle is right on your tail.

One of the bugs is the steering wheel buttons not always working. A number of owners have today received an email from Polestar asking us to book the car in for new steering wheel buttons - so the bugs aren't all software! Mine goes into Volvo for this on Tuesday next week.

None of the bugs are significant to seriously impact the enjoyment of what is a terrific car, altough I hope I don't end up regretting saying that!

Brilliant, thank you very much! I think I'll be trying to cancel my Mach-E order laugh

I looked at the mach E as an option, it was a no brainer switch for the polestar 4!

Does anyone know why, when configuring a car on the Polestar website, certain specs aren’t available as a factory order? Does this mean there’s none currently built/available? Or I can’t actually order that spec?

Its the same with the Polestar 2 configurator as well.

I think it's because they have stock they are trying to shift, probably before the year end and are hoping you'll compromise and buy one that's already here or on a ship.

Do those buttons not control the cruise control?

So does the cruise control just stay on if the buttons stop working?
