I've owned the GV60 for about three months and it's the best car I've ever owned. They have had some recalls but mostly software updates definitely
worth a test drive. I have the advance and I think it's a better deal but if you need that extra boost to go from 0-60 it might be for you. Good Luck!!

Coming close to two years in mine now and it has been near flawless. The change in the way Genesis are run in the UK has caused concerns over service but they seem to be getting on top of that. Quality is superb, though think Lexus for the interior, not BMW/Mercedes.
Only downside was a couple of weeks back they released an update to the ent system which also made Android Auto and Apple Carplay wireless, plus integrated in to the driver display and HUD. Catch was it borked the remote software so while you can do some things with the app the car will no longer receive remote commands or send alerts. We've been promised a fix soon.

Thanks. whats the motorway range like? I had a look at a the bmw EVs but the quality seemed no better than my current tesla, so looking for something a notch above the tesla(which has been faultless and a fairly brilliant car). the Lexus 450E is on offer but the range is just too terrible.
Is the B+O option needed?

During the summer I get over 300, winter 240-260. Charging ... - in France I was regularly seeing 220+kW all the way up to over 80% charge.
The updated stereo provides passive noise cancellation (or as they call it Active Noise-Cancelling System).
If you do go for it strongly suggest the Innovation pack - for the HUD, blind spot monitoring, matrix headlights, and more.
However I regret getting the panoramic roof for mine, I do use it during the summer but I have the light interior so do not need the additional light.

I've had a GV60 Sport since last December, and moved to it from a Macan S Diesel. The GV60 is comfortable, quiet, charges quickly and is very well built and finished. Completely agree with dapprman's comments about the Innovation pack, the headlights alone are worth the price! The B&O stereo is superb, all the test drives cars we drove had it fitted so I can't comment on the standard stereo.
No challenge at all - I have a RWD Premium, recently did over 250 from Portsmouth to NW in one hit. Wasn’t even at 100% to start with, just set cruise at 70.
Stopped once for coffee and comfort break, adaptive cruise in traffic, no charging. HDA is superb for long journeys, a very relaxed car to cover long trips.
As commented above, the customer service has taken a nosedive recently, and it wasn’t great to start with. I seem to have inherited a Hyundai dealer, and it’s put me off Hyundai!
(Not a snob - we’re on our sixth Kia and the service has been fantastic )
Had mine nearly two years now, and still get many questions and complements. They are rare, so you always get a double take or wave from other owners

I’ve seen this same colour GV60 at the Costa Coffee, Botley, Oxford. You, by any chance?! Stopped once for coffee and comfort break, adaptive cruise in traffic, no charging. HDA is superb for long journeys, a very relaxed car to cover long trips.

We’ve really enjoyed ours. If you like the design, my guess is that you’ll really like the car.
Additional comments as we also own a Tesla: We find the Tesla’s UI to be more intuitive and it’s clear that the GV60 is an early EV attempt by H/K/G. A perfect example is the on/off button. Why??
It also doesn’t handle the transition from acceleration to coasting to braking as smoothly as the Tesla, and the blended brakes make it tough at times to come to a smooth stop.
All that said, it’s a great car.

hows the quality/fit and finish compared to the tesla(in your opinion?). FWIW I think the model 3 is better than VW/Bmws at the same price point.Additional comments as we also own a Tesla: We find the Tesla’s UI to be more intuitive and it’s clear that the GV60 is an early EV attempt by H/K/G. Fit & finish and overall quality is excellent - on par with the posh German cars we’ve owned, IMO. Our Tesla is also excellent, but the GV60’s interior materials are a notch nicer. I personally find the Model 3’s driver’s seat more comfortable, despite its far simpler design. But the GV60’s seats look fantastic…

Is this a new car direct from Genesis ? I ask as they made the comfort pack standard a year ago (I suspect Zcd1 did not get that option as I find them some of the most comfortable modern seats I've ever tried, but there again I find Tesla seats to be some of the worst - I do have a legacy of back problems which did result in a major slipped disk and several operations though).

The car was fully equipped when purchased in the USA - there weren’t any options. Is this a new car direct from Genesis ? Seat comfort is such a personal thing. I find the GV60’s seat to be too flat and too firm, and the automatic massage to be annoying rather than helpful.
Y (and everyone else’s) MMV…

FWIW I agree - had a later courtesy car for a week with the upgraded seats and they are quite hard.Seat comfort is such a personal thing. I find the GV60’s seat to be too flat and too firm, and the automatic massage to be annoying rather than helpful.

My poverty spec Premium doesn't have massage, heating or cooling.... but I find them really comfy
