Sony Honda Afeela

Hi all , new to Pistonheads. Big fan of GT7.
I have a car on GT7 known as Afeela, an ev i have never previously heard of until recently. Anybody know anything about this? If you google it, a website will come up.
Currently a prototype apparently. Looks good, possible future launch date? Seems to be a joint venture between Honda and Sony, can’t be a bad thing surely?

It's been out for ages, it was just a showcase for sony, I dont think there was ever any intention of building them for the public. Basically a concept car for a non car manufacturer to get some headlines. GT have a history of including vehicles that never got past the concept stage.

Edited: seems this is the 3rd revision of their concept and are stating that they may indeed make this one in limited number in 2025. I doubt that is true, but it got plenty of headlines as it was designed to do.

Preorders expected first half of 2025, Deliveries in US around spring 2026. Hopefully 🤞
